Beyond the Resume

The stuff that's not on the resume, but is still true.

Strengths, personality frameworks, whatever you want to call them, tools I've used to understand my own patterns, not labels I hide behind. Take them as seriously as you'd like.

How I'm Wired

Learner, Input, Intellection, Ideation, Analytical: all five of my top CliftonStrengths sit in Gallup's "Strategic Thinking" domain. That's not a coincidence, it's the same instinct showing up five different ways: gather everything first (Input), sit with it before acting (Intellection), find the reframe nobody's tried yet (Ideation), then pressure-test it until it holds (Analytical). It's the same instinct behind starting every project with an audit instead of a draft.

Enneagram 5 · The Investigator

Type 5s build competence quietly before they speak up, and get uneasy committing to something they haven't verified themselves. That's the same reason I don't ship a first draft, mine or AI's, without checking it myself first.

Myers-Briggs · INTJ

Strategic, independent, allergic to plans without a rationale behind them. INTJs want the whole system in view before they touch a single piece of it, which is most of why "audit before anything else" isn't just a process step for me, it's just how I think.

What That Adds Up To

Put together: someone who needs to understand the why before committing to the what, who'd rather verify quietly than agree quickly, and who does their best work once they've actually bought in, not before. (Capricorn, if you're into that sort of thing: same profile, different vocabulary. Long game, no shortcuts.)
