Tyler Quackenbush

About

I decide what's worth building, then build it, then teach the next 1,500 people how to do the same thing with AI.

I'm Tyler Quackenbush. Eight-plus years moving between UX design, project management, and AI-adoption strategy, for a federal contractor and a public university. Most recently: building the concept prototypes that win federal contracts, and running the training program teaching 1,500 people to use AI on purpose instead of by accident. Different surface, same job: find what's actually true, cut what's just noise, and make sure the people downstream, leadership, a design team, an end user, get something they can act on.

01 · How I Work

I start with what actually needs to be true. Decks can wait. Most stalled projects aren't skill problems. They're decision problems somebody dressed up as a status update because nobody wanted to own the call.

I use Claude for research synthesis and first-draft speed, on prototypes and on the training curriculum I run at Agile Defense. I still make the final call on what ships. That judgment is the job.

I'll take the boring answer that's right over the clever one that needs a follow-up meeting to explain, every time.
